Ener-G-Rotors is commercializing devices that turns low temperature heat into electricity, opening up a new market in waste heat, solar thermal and geothermal installations. The waste heat market is crowded with companies, but none can create cost-effective solutions that turn low temperature heat (150°F to 400°F) into electricity at the 0.5kW to 50kW size range. The technology behind our products is the patented Trochoidal Gear Engine (TGE). The low friction and simple design of the TGE makes it the most efficient, durable, and cost effective expander at low temperatures (150°F to 400°F) and small sizes (<200kW). This reduction in friction has two benefits: (1) higher efficiency in turning heat into work, and (2) less gear wear which lowers maintenance costs. TGE-5M (5kW output)
Low grade (150F-400F) heat market with low gal/hr or scfm rates; biogas from landfills and digesters; bottoming cycle of combustion engines; process gases from paper plants; steam from tank farms and industrial and commercial operations; waste heat from fuel cells; heat from solar vacuum tubes; personal home or camp power generation TGE-50 (50kW output)
Low grade (150F-400F) heat market . Primarily used for industrial, commercial, and CHP waste heat sources. Sources can be steam, steam condensate, or water.
Several new engine and systems designs with various waste heat sources from solar to fuel cells at various sizes from 1kW to 100kW.
